This upcoming week THURS, FRI & SATURDAY we're hosting NAASN5!! and SAT.JAN. 18th, the Surrey Anarchist Bookfair! with lots of amazing tables lined up and some very useful, practical & radical workshops. Drop in any time and listen in (it's free & fun & for real. There will be lunches, snack and tea/coffee as well!)

ANARCHY & SOCIETY (sociological approaches)
will be held then followed by THE POLITICS OF VIOLENCE & THE STATE @ 3:30pm.

Friday Morning, we will open with a traditional welcoming ceremony from Kwantlen Nation members. At 10 am, our first panel begins, on ANTI-RACISM & ANTI-COLONIALISM, with a special launch of a new open journal, Abolition. At 11:30 am, we begin an important parallel forum on INDIGENOUS FOOD SOVEREIGNTY. If you would like to get involved in the creation of the narrative around this forum/day, please write landislife @ or the Aboriginal Resurgence Group @ Kwantlen.

After a veggie lunch provided by the Grassroots Cafe, we will have further breakout workshops on the topic of building/growing Indigenous Food Security & Sovereignty. We also have 2 more amazing NAASN panels lined up: At 2pm begins: Grassroots Networks: Media, Cities & Spaces -- then at 3:30 begins: Art & Cultures of Resistance
